The adventure began in 2016, after a vacation in Puglia: our first!
We had traveled far and wide, throughout Italy and abroad, yet for some reason, we had never made it to Puglia.
That changed when our friends from Puglia invited us — and, to be honest, they had to insist a little before we finally agreed. So my husband and I set off on what would become a turning point.
From that first visit, we were captivated. We returned many times, and it quickly became clear to our friends that our enthusiasm wasn’t just polite flattery — it was genuine.
After a long search, we found a piece of land, lovingly restored the two existing trulli, and added a new structure in harmony with the old.
I like to think that this home was born out of friendship, grew through our family’s journey, and above all, continues to be a place where we can come together — and where others are welcome to do the same.er.
L’avventura ha inizio nel 2016, dopo una vacanza in Puglia: la prima!
Abbiamo viaggiato in lungo e in largo, in Italia e all’estero, ma non so per quale strano motivo, non eravamo ancora stati in Puglia.
Sta di fatto, che i nostri amici pugliesi ci hanno invitano, e hanno anche dovuto insistere un pò per convincerci, e così io e mio marito siamo partiti.
Da quel momento, ci siamo tornati molte volte, e i nostri amici hanno capito che il nostro entusiasmo non era solo un modo, per far loro i complimenti.
Dopo molte ricerche, abbiamo identificato il terreno, ristrutturato i 2 trulli preesistenti e costruito la parte nuova.
Mi piace pensare, che questa casa nasca da un’occasione di amicizia, e sia cresciuta grazie alla nostra storia familiare, ma sopratutto che continui ad essere un luogo dove ritrovarsi.
